Badminton coach desire to bring talent to forefront

ISLAMABAD – International badminton coach Raziuddin – who had launched the first-ever Pakistan Badminton Foundation (PBF) in Pakistan – has said that he desires to see Pakistani players on top in the world rankings and for that he will put his all-out efforts in bringing the talent out of the country to fore.

Raziuddin said that he has established his foundation for the players and the young generation who are interested in the game. "We will be going to each part of Pakistan in order to see the interested player and the young talent and to bring them to fore," he said. “We will be imparting training to the players we will want to come into this game,” he said.

“Pakistan is blessed with plentiful of talent we just need to encourage our players and give them what they need,” he said. He also said he wishes to establish his academies in all the major cities for players. “Jobs will be provided to players, coaches, umpires and other technical staff and the entire system will be run on transparent manner,” he said.

Raziuddin said his foundation would provide equal opportunities for both male and female players. "Wheel-chair badminton will also be introduced for special players," he said. He said PBF will modernize the current badminton courts according to the needs of the special children and also provide specially designed scoreboards which will be helpful in learning sign badminton.

Raziuddin said that the foundation aims to produce maximum players, coaches and umpires who will represent Pakistan internationally.
