LAHORE – The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has written a letter to the Indian government regarding the fate of Pakistan-India series, a private TV channel reported on Wednesday. According to details, BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur said that both the Indian board and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had agreed to continue with the series, adding that the Indian government would have a final say in this regard. The development came after the top cricket leadership of both Pakistan and India met in Dubai to discuss the revival of cricket between the two countries. PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan said that the board had written a letter to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to decide the fate of the series. In a separate development, the PCB said that its Indian counterpart had not asked for a share in revenue from the proceedings of the cricket series. Local media had reported on Tuesday that the BCCI had asked the PCB for a share in revenue.
