Visa problems for Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran : ACBS postpones Asian U-21 Snooker in Mohali

KARACHI: The Asian Confederation of Billiard Sports (ACBS) has postponed the Asian Under-21 Billiards and Snooker Championships to be held in Mohali, India because Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan still not have received clearance for their visas. “The Asian U-21 event have been officially postponed by the ACBS for a couple of months, because Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran have still not received clearance for their visas for participation in the championships from the host association,” a spokesman for the Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association said in a statement on Monday. “The new dates and venue of the championships will now be decided by the ACBS Board in their forthcoming Annual General Meeting to be held on the occasion of the 30th Asian Snooker Championship to be held in Al Fujairah, United Arab Emirates,” he added.
