Four killed in city

KARACHI: Four people lost their lives while two others were injured in different incidents on Saturday. According to police, two victims named Pervez (24) son of Ghulam Mohammad, and Kalo (22), son of Khair Mihammad and an injured Mohammad Ameen (23) son of Miskeen, were brought to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) from Haji Shafiq Goth Malir.
These persons were kidnapped by an unidentified accused, and two of them were killed and one injured and dumped into the Malir River.
In another incident, the body of Sultan (30), son of Haji was found from Baldia Square Road, which was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.
In a road accident, a child named Kiran (5) was killed due to vehicle collision at Nadia Square North Karachi. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-formalities.
In another road accident, Mariyam (30) was injured due to vehicle collision near Baldia Hub River Road. She was shifted to CHK.
Moreover, three dead bodies were found from the Malir River on Saturday. Rescue sources said that they were informed about the presence of the dead bodies and they recovered bodies of three persons and shifted them to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC). They said it was suspected that they were shot dead by a bullet in the head from point blank range. The police said further probe was under way and the identification of the victims was yet to be ascertained.
