PPP announces sit in against power cut today: Sharjeel

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Information Sharjeel Innam Memon has announced Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Karachi chapter would stage sit in on Sunday out side the main office of K-Electric to protest against the load shedding in the province. He said the provincial ministers besides members Sindh Assembly and party workers would participate in the sit in. He said PPP would also stage sit in at divisional headquarters in front of the offices of Water and Power Development Authority, Hyderabad Electric Supply Company and Sukkur Electric Supply Company to protest against long duration load shedding of electricity. Memon said we did not leave the people at the mercy of K-Electric. Around 18 hours long power cut continues in the most of villages in Sindh province, he pointed out. He said federal government should stop behaving like step mother with the Sindh province.
