Three die in a road accident; two electrocuted

KARACHI: Three people were killed and four others injured in traffic accidents across the city on Friday. In a tragic accident, three members of a family, a woman and two children, died near the Dua Hotel, Maripur area. According to rescue sources, all were residents of Maripur. They were identified as Nargis (36), Razia (4) and Sohail (13). The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for medico-legal formalities. In another incident, two people were injured in a road accident near the Naval Colony in Baldia. An unidentified man, aged 40, and Ghulam (40) were injured when a fast moving vehicle hit them. Both were injured were taken to CHK for treatment. Separately, Fida Ali (54) was injured in a vehicle crash near the Jamaat Khana in Karimabad. He was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for treatment. Yet in another car accident, Ahsan (25) was injured near Al-Asif Square at Sohrab Goth. He was rushed to the ASH. Moreover, two more were killed in electrocution incidents. A woman, Kishwar (35) died of electric shocks near Muzafa Masjid, Gulshan-e-Buner, Landhi. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities. In another incident, Javed (50) resident of Burns Road died of electric shocks at duty timings near Fresco Sweets on Burns Road. The body was shifted to KCH for an autopsy.
