KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) is holding a solidarity rally to show harmony with the founder party leader Altaf Hussain on May 25, 2014.
The solidarity rally would also be organised in other parts of the country including interior Sindh, MQM added.
The citizens of Karachi will come out in support of ‘the leader of the movement’ Altaf Hussain on that day. It’s going to be a landmark occasion and preparations have been completed, MQM leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said at a press conference on Wednesday.
He informed media the rally would start from Tibet Centre in Saddar. He said peace of country was associated with the peace in Karachi. Targeted operation in Karachi should continue but it should produce fruitful results.
He hoped issues related to Hussain’s National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) would be resolved soon.
He said conspiracies were being hatched on national and international level, but we were with Altaf Hussain, he added.
MQM leader said they were being pushed to the wall. We are with Altaf Hussian and we would reach to our destiny. He said rally would be one of the biggest of the country.
The Karachi targeted operation should not be carried out against the party who has sole mandate of the people of Karachi. The MQM should be as a stakeholder in the operation.
Karachi, the city serving the country economically was being treated like stepmother.
A lasting peace and harmony in Karachi is in favour of the country as Karachi is the main economic and industrial hub of the country.
This would only be happened when all the segments of the society were on one page and Karachi targeted operation should be carried out honestly and without any discrimination.
