JI stresses operation against criminals


 KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi stressed upon grand operation against the criminal elements regardless of any political affiliation for restoration of lasting peace in Karachi. JI Karachi chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman expressed his deep concern over the killing of dozens of innocent people including lawyers, doctors and ulema. The government has completely failed to restore law and order in Karachi, despite its tall claims of arresting dozens of criminals and target killers, he added. He said the criminal elements were targeting the innocent people and professionals in broad daylight, however the law enforcing agencies officials did not apprehend any of criminal elements. He said the JI parliamentary leader in National Assembly Sahabzada Tariqullah has also submitted an adjournment motion in Assembly regarding the deteriorated law and order situation in Karachi. Police and Rangers apprehended dozens of criminals on daily basis, however none of them has yet to be produced before court for conviction.
