KARACHI: Two people were killed and as many others injured in separate incidents in Karachi on Tuesday. According to rescue sources, two rival groups exchanged fire over a dispute in Banaras area. As a result, 22-year-old Shakeel, son of Akmal, sustained bullet wounds to his head and died instantly. His body was shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy. Meanwhile, two people, including a woman, were injured in a road accident in Tower area. Rescue sources said that 29-year-old Maryam and Ramzan, 30, were injured when a speeding vehicle hit their car near Native Jetty Bridge in Tower area. They were rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment. In Orangi Town area, a man identified as Bilal was hit by a speeding vehicle, killing him on the spot. Later, the body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
