LAHORE: Following the recent incidents of child abductions, city police has beefed up the security arrangements at all schools, colleges, universities and other important government and private places in the provincial capital on Friday. DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf has ordered to tighten the security of schools and other institutions across the city. He said that the criminals involved in kidnappings of children were the enemy of the humanity and the nation. The DIG visited different schools, colleges other institutions, banks and other important place on daily basis to check the security arrangements, which was issued by the concerned departments. He also issued strict instruction of different institutions that did not complete their security arrangements like installations of CCTV cameras, professional security guards, proper display of security measurements, helpful awareness among the masses.
