Centre must refrain from interfering in Sindh affairs

KARACHI: Federal government should refrain from interfering in the affairs of Sindh province unnecessarily and concentrate to resolve the torturous problems of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), as they were living in severe distress and were still looking for support, Sindh Information and Local Government Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said the IDPs were being ignored completely by the federal government. He reiterated the federal government should take sincere efforts for elimination of power load shedding in the country during Ramazan. Memon said Pakistan Peoples Party has always demonstrated political maturity and according to the 18th Amendment, the federal government should stop interference in provincial matters. He said the federal government should avoid meddling in the affairs of Sindh province. He said the Punjab government had not welcomed the country’s President and Prime Minister at airport in the past, the prejudice character was used but we would never adopt such traditions.
