Terrorism poses grave threat to Pakistan’s security: Sattar

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar on Saturday warned that Pakistan is presently facing grave threats to its survival and security. Addressing a press conference, he said that the armed forces of Pakistan are fighting a war with full dedication. He said that a public rally is being staged in the city on today (Sunday) to express solidarity with the army. “Today’s rally would prove that terrorism and Pakistan cannot go side-by-side,” he said, adding that the purpose of the procession is to promote peace and stability which constitutes fundamental rights of the Pakistani people. He ruled-out the elimination of terrorism without first crushing the menace of extremism.
