KU announces new entry test date

KARACHI: Director Admission Karachi University (KU) Professor Khalid Iraqi announced the new date for entry tests of Master of Business Administration (MBA-Banking) evening shift. The postponed entry test of July 26 will now be conducted on Sunday August 10 at same timing and place. The merit list for admissions in MBA Banking and other departments will be uploaded on university website onWednesday August 13, 2014 at evening. Meanwhile Controller of Examinations KU Dr Muhammed Arshad Azmi has said there had been clear reduction in malpractices such as undue changes in marks and exam cheating in the University. This should be noted there have been complaints of amendment being made in marks sheets from tabulation (a record maintained by the university for verification) in the University. The controller said he could ensure nobody could get marks sheet or degree from the KU illegally. Without the permission of controller there is no chance of alteration in tabulation. He said some people did try to influence upon him through political parties however, whoever contacted him in this regard was rejected and convinced politely, which they agreed upon. Strict action had been taken during exams against cheating and hundreds of students were caught red-handed while cheating and they were fined for the malicious activity.
