PPP to table resolution in assembly against exclusion of uplift schemes

KARACHI: Sindh information minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that attitude of federal government has become intolerable. In the upcoming session of Sindh Assembly, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) would table resolution against the exclusion of 11 major development schemes of Sindh from upcoming federal government’s budget.
“In the upcoming session of Sindh Assembly, PPP would present resolution against exclusion of 11 major development schemes, prejudice attitude of federal government towards Sindh and against the discriminatory power load shedding in Sindh by the centre. To ignore drinking water schemes by the centre is like enmity against the people, ” said Sindh information minister in a statement.
Sharjeel said federal government has started open enmity against Sindh and its people. The steps taken by the federal government are like self-adversary. He said the vengeance activities against the leaders of Pakistan People Party have proved that leadership of Pakistan Muslim League (N) has learnt nothing from past mistakes. “PML N leadership should take the lessons from 1980s era and eliminate the unfriendly policies against people,” he said.
He said PML N should not consider the reconciliatory policies of PPP as its weakness. “PPP has sacrificed most against the fight against the dictatorship and for the sake of democracy. We would not support ant conspiracy against the democracy at any cost, said the minister.
