LHC moved for disqualification of Nawaz, Nisar

LAHORE: Insaf Lawyers Forum Senior Vice President Gohar Nawaz Sindhu on Saturday moved the Lahore High Court seeking disqualification of the prime minister and interior minister for allegedly lying about requesting the chief of army staff to mediate between the government and protesting parties. Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri for arbitration. He said that the PM and interior minister addressed parliament and had said that they had not called or requested the COAS to mediate. He requested the court to disqualify both the PM and interior minister for violating Article 63 of the constitution.
