PML-N workers resolve to resist mandate snatching

LAHORE: PML-N workers and leaders have resolved to foil every attempt to hijack mandate given to the party by the masses. They have also said that Imran Khan had decided to create anarchy and lawlessness in the country to hide his failure of long march.
They said that the million march of the PTI had turned into a “hundred march” and that it had reached its logical end. They also said that the people of Pakistan would sacrifice their lives for protection of democracy and that the time had come to reject those launching sit-ins and long marches against development of the country.
According to press release, PML-N leaders Pervaiz Malik, Shaista Pervaiz Malik, Khawaja Ahmed Hasaan, Khawaja Imran Nazir, Khawaja Salman Rafique, Chaudhry Shahbaz, Maulana Ragheeb Naeemi, Imran Ali Goraya, Tauseef Shah and others expressed these views at a workers convention at Aiwan-e-Iqbal on Tuesday.
PML-N male and female workers in large numbers were present on the occasion. They raised slogans in favour of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and also in favour of democratic system.
Addressing the convention, MNA Pervaiz Malik said that the PML-N never took irresponsible steps and that it had always upheld the constitution. He said that economic development of the country was not acceptable to those launching long marches and sit-ins. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had already fulfilled basic demands of Imran Khan by requesting the constitution of a commission consisting of Supreme Court judges to probe into rigging allegations in the May 2013 elections. Despite such an announcement by the prime minister, he said, Imran Khan was not ready to give up his unconstitutional stances.
Speaking on the occasion, Khawaja Ahmed Hasaan said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif rules the hearts of the people and that those, who were trying to take hostage the entire country only with a few thousand people, should realise that the people were with Nawaz Sharif. He said that they would not accept any unconstitutional step nor would they allow anyone to take such a step.
Khawaja Imran Nazir said that Imran Khan goes to Bani Gala to sleep after celebrating “jashan” on his container for a few hours but that his workers remain on roads. He said that Imran Khan was instigating his workers and that this instigation would harm the country. He said that “in-laws of Imran Khan” were killing innocent Palestinians in Gaza and that they have deputed Imran Khan in Pakistan to destabilise the country so that the people should forget the atrocities being committed by Jews on innocent Palestinians.
Khawaja Salman Rafique said that some people were engaged in damaging the country at the behest of foreign forces but that we would not allow it to take place.
Maulana Raghib Naeemi said that Pakistan needed a strong and stable democracy and that we would not allow derailment of democracy on the demand of only a few thousand people. Saba Sadiq and Imran Goraya presented two resolutions, which were adopted unanimously.
It was said in the resolutions that PML-N workers would not allow anyone to snatch PML-N mandate and that they would support the party for strengthening democracy.
