LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan has said that the PTI had an agenda to derail democratic system and that the country cannot afford such an adventurism.
Talking to the press on Friday, the minister said the country was passing through the most critical phase when political stability was badly needed to resolve challenges. He said that the people had seen the faces of those, who wanted to stop process of development in the country. He said that since the most vital operation was underway against terrorists in North Waziristan Agency, there was an urgent need to extend full support to the country’s Armed Forces.
The minister observed that the proposed long march of Imran Khan was unconstitutional and unlawful and would create chaos and anarchy in the country.
“Pakistan cannot afford such adventurism,” he said, adding that the parliament was a proper forum for bringing about amendments to the constitution.
