LAHORE: Lahore Auto Show 2014 attracted thousands of people at the Liberty Market parking lot here on Sunday.
The show was organised by Pakwheels.com in collaboration with the Tourism Development Corporation Punjab (TDCP).
At the show, more than 300 cars, jeeps, sports cars, vans, motorbikes in vintage, sports, luxury, 4x4 and modified categories were put on display.
Vehicles from renowned companies including Porsche, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Jaguar, Rolls Royce, Mercedes, BMW, Nissan and many others were showcased.
The show also included Shell University Drive in which students of nine universities from across Pakistan participated in car racing competitions. The winner would be sent to Malaysia for the F1 Malaysian Grand Prix.
Pakwheels Director Suneel Sarfaraz Munj said, “Family entertainment shows like the auto show are need of the hour to revitalise this city with new fests. Pakwheels has always remained committed to promoting such pleasurable events and serving society.” He further added that this year, in particular, a large number of people participated in the show, which signified that the citizens were willing to see the best of the makers.
