LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Friday took notice of a press report on administrative side regarding two incidents of killings of a minor boy and a girl after alleged assault.
The LHC directed the Faisalabad district and sessions judge to look into the matters and submit a detailed report regarding steps taken by the police along with his own comments within a week.
According to details, Muhammad Wasim, 12, son of Muhammad Yasin, a resident of Dajkot Chak No 243/RB, was working in a coal factory on Samundari Road. One day he was returning from his workplace when some accused abducted him and took him to a deserted place, where they molested him.
They later killed him. In another incident, 8-year-old daughter of Hasan Khan, a resident of Naya Bazaar, Jaranwala, was playing in the street when some unidentified accused took her to an undisclosed place, where they allegedly assaulted and killed her.
