Qadri to announce date for ‘revolution march’ today

LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has consulted his allies about the ‘revolution march’ and again convened a meeting today (Sunday) to announce the date of the march.
The meeting for consultation was held at Dr Tahirul Qadri’s residence in Model Town on Saturday. The meeting was attended by Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Sheikh Rasheed and other leaders. Dr Qadri consulted his allies about the date of revolution march and discussed other options. Talking to the media on the occasion, PML-Q leaders Chaudhry Shujaat and Pervaiz Elahi said that the government’s future looked dark, and that the time for talks with the government was over. The Chaudhry brothers said that they were not afraid of detentions and arrests. They said that consultations about the revolution march had concluded and many surprising decisions would come to the fore. They also said that Imran Khan’s party had an agenda of its own; and that “we will make our own decisions”. The leaders said that the government would have to pay for the Model Town tragedy.
