LAHORE – Punjab Women Development Minister Hameeda Waheed-ud-Din on Monday said that the PML-N government believed in serving the masses that was why it had launched many welfare projects.
Talking to a delegation of working women at her office here on Monday, she said that Rs 1.86 billion for women development projects would help resolve issues faced by women. She said that women were the 52 per cent of the country's population and the government would resolve their all problems.
She said that five women hostels would be built in the current financial year while spade work on another five had already been completed. The minister said that the government would also establish 65 daycare centres for children of working women during 2014-15.
