ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday said that transparent investigation into the general election vote fraud was not possible with Nawaz Sharif in the office of the prime minister.
“We cannot trust Nawaz Sharif with investigation on rigging. Once we leave and pressure is off, he will do everything to sabotage investigation process,” Imran said in a message posted on micro-blogging site.
The PTI chief said that past record of Sharif brothers show that they bought or scared witnesses. He alleged that Shahbaz Sharif was already sabotaging the Model Town tragedy's first information report (FIR).
“Past record of Sharif’s shows they will buy/scare witnesses. The chief minister is already sabotaging the Model Town murders' FIR,” Imran said.
