LAHORE – Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq said on Saturday that inviting the army to interfere in political matters was not an ideal initiative.
Speaking to journalists here, Siraj said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was offered the guarantee of the parliamentary parties for its demands. "We hope that this issue will be resolved soon,'' he said.
He also said that the PTI was yet to respond to opposition’s offer. ''It would have been good if politicians had resolved the crisis themselves," he added.
