WASHINGTON – US National Security Adviser Susan Rice will pay a one-day emergency visit to Pakistan on Sunday. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz would hold separate meetings with the US diplomat. She is also likely to meet Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif. According to reports, the US diplomat will discuss India-Pakistan tension due to ceasefire violations and situation in Afghanistan. The visit would also see discussions on matters relating to the Indian aggression along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary.
