China extending full cooperation for resolving problems of Pakistan

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pak-China friendship has stood the test of time and the strong relations between Pakistan and China have entered into a new era. He said that Chinese government is extending full cooperation to the ongoing development process under the present government and has proved Pak-China friendship by giving the biggest development package of the history to Pakistan. The Chief Minister said that people of Pakistan are thankful to the Chinese leadership, government and people for the commendable role in the development of various sectors of the country. Shahbaz Sharif said that Pak-China relations will further strengthen due to the agreement between Punjab government and China during his recent visit regarding training of Pakistani doctors and paramedical staff in the best Chinese hospitals. 
He expressed these views while talking to assembly members of various districts who called on him. Shahbaz Sharif said that useful dialogues were held with Chinese officials and investors during the recent visit. He said that it was agreed to further enhance cooperation in energy, infrastructure, transport, health and other sectors. The Chief Minister said that Chinese investment companies have shown willingness to invest in various sectors in Pakistan particularly in Punjab which will help resolve problems like poverty and unemployment. He said that Pakistani delegation was accorded warm welcome during the visit to China and useful progress has been made with regard to enhancing bilateral cooperation. Shahbaz Sharif said that the entire Pakistani nation is ready to receive Chinese President during his visit to Pakistan in September and due to the visit of Chinese President, relations between both the countries will further strengthen. He said that Pakistan is a lucky country of the region which has a reliable and sincere friend like China. He said that Chinese government and the people want to see Pakistan a prosperous and developed country and that is why, Chinese companies are making huge investment in Pakistan. The Chief Minister said that China fully realizes the problems being faced by Pakistan and is extending all possible cooperation for steering it out of quagmire of problems. He said that electricity projects of thousands of megawatts have been started with the cooperation of China and after their completion, Pakistani people will be rid of load-shedding. He said that as per agreement made between China and Punjab government, Chinese government will provide latest medical training to Pakistani doctors and paramedical staff on its own expenses which reflects love and affection of Chinese leadership and people with their Pakistani brethren. He said that under the agreement, training in emergency and acupuncture will be imparted to doctors and paramedics of Punjab in the best hospitals of China which will promote awareness in them about the use of modern technology in the medical field. He said that Punjab government is spending billions of rupees on the provision of modern and quality health facilities to the people and a solid strategy has been adopted for the uplift of health sector. He said that improvement of health sector and provision of modern healthcare facilities to the common man is the priority of Punjab government. He said that the agreement signed with China is an important step towards further improvement in medical facilities for the masses in Punjab. He said that the government led by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is making serious efforts to steer the country out of problems and put it on the road to progress and development. He said that the nation will achieve its goal through adopting the golden principle of honesty, hard work and sacrifice and Pakistan will be transformed in accordance with the ideals of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal.
