PESHAWAR - Mehsud militant group has formally announced its separation from the central outlawed militant group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Talking to journlist at an undisclosed place on Wednesday, spokesman of the Mehsud factions of the TTP, Azam Tariq announced that the Mehsud group led by Khalid Mehsud has decided separation from the TTP after thorough consideration.
He said that few elements have handed over management of the central organization into the hands of unseen forces under an organized plan. After thorough consideration, the group led by Ameer Khalid Mehsud has decided to break away from the TTP, the spokesperson said.
According to Azam Tariq Mehud, the Mehsud group had tried to reunite and reform the system but conspiring elements in the organisation succeeded.
He said the TTP is involved in kidnapping for ransom, extortion and blast sat public places while Mehsud faction only supports action against oppressors.
