LAHORE: A five-member Pakistani team reached New Delhi on Sunday with a task to help investigate the Pathankot terror attack case. The team headed by Punjab Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Additional Inspector-General (AIG) Muhammad Tahir Rai who is the first Pakistani investigator to ever visit for Indian military facility. The team left for India in a special jet and they will visit the National Investigation Agency (NIA) headquarters in New Delhi, where Indian investigators will give them a 90-minute presentation regarding the attacks. On Tuesday, the Pakistani team will be flown to Pathankot in a BSF aircraft where they will examine the attack site and record the statement of SP Gurdaspur and 17 other witnesses. The JIT will return on March 31 to present its findings to the government.
