2 killed in Quetta, bullet-riddled body found

QUETTA: Two people were gunned down on link Badini Road area of Sariab, while a bullet-riddled body was recovered from Kuchklak, a suburb of the provincial capital, on Sunday. According to the police, a man identified as Master Abdul Khaliqdad allegedly opened gunfire on two persons on Link Badini Road area of Sariab. As a result, both the victims were killed on the spot. Police rushed to the spot soon after the incident and cordoned off the area and deceased were taken to the Civil Hospital for autopsy. The attackers managed to escape after the attack. The deceased were identified as Jalal Khan s/o Kher Buksh and Khalil Ahmed. It was a case of old enmity and investigations are underway, police said. Meanwhile, a bullet-riddled body was recovered from Kuchklak, a suburb of the provincial capital, while a person was kidnapped from Dalbandin. Chaman Levis also arrested two accused of kidnapping for ransom, on Sunday. According to reports, Kuchklak police recovered a dead body from an area known as Kharoatabad ground in Kuchklak. The victims was shot dead, said the police. Police identified the deceased as Muhammad Ali whose father Nawab Khan, while recording his statement, told police that unidentified armed men had picked him from his house. Police shifted the body to the hospital and later handed it over to the legal heirs after completion of medical formalities. Police registered a case into the incident and investigations are underway. Meanwhile, unknown armed men kidnapped a person breaking into his house, in Dalbandin. According to reports, unidentified armed men knocked at the door of a resident of Ghareebabad in Dalbandin, identified as Muhammad Idrees. As he opened the door, the armed men grabbed him and took him away with them to an undisclosed location.
