KHYBER AGENCY: At least three people were injured in a blast in the Landikotal area of the Khyber tribal region on Sunday, the sources said.
The official sources said that a vehicle of Tawheedul Islam peace committee activists was targeted, and it was complete destroyed. The peace committee suspects Lashkar-e-Islam’s hand in the attack. Meanwhile, the Zakakhel tribesmen and the Afghan refugees living in parts of Bara tehsil have been warned by the Lashkar-i-Islam militant group to join them or leave the area. The Lashkar-i-Islam and Zakakhel tribesmen have been fighting for the last one year and renewed threats would further deteriorate the situation in the area.

Police and the rescue officials said that when a truck collided head-on with a car carrying five people. The incident took place on Kabirwala Jhang Road near Khanewal, on Sunday morning. Three killed in clash in Bannu: At least three people were killed in a clash between two groups in Bannu on Sunday, the officials said.
According to the police, a conflict between them started early morning when two groups started firing at each other. Due to the firing, three people were killed on the sport while the attackers succeeded in fleeing, the sources said. The police also added that the area has been cordoned off for the search of the attackers. The dead bodies have been shifted to the nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.
