ISLAMABAD – The ruling Pakistan Muslim League-N has announced that it will defeat the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf with a wider margin in NA-122 and NA-154 constituencies. Talking to reporters here on Thursday, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif took the decision to re-contest elections after consenting fellow party members. He said former National Assembly speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq will re-contest elections for the NA-122 constituency. “Ayaz Sadiq will not take stay order from the Supreme Court,” he added. Answering a question, the minister said that the PML-N will take decision regarding NA-125 constituency after the return of Khawaja Saad Rafique. On August 26, an election tribunal in its verdict disqualified PML-N lawmaker Muhammad Siddique Khan Baloch and declared NA-154 vacant.
