RAHIM YAR KHAN – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said his party has been with the masses since the era of PPP founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. Addressing a gathering here on Saturday, Bilawal said that whoever stood for the poor in Pakistan was killed. “Oppressed is not weak, it’s the oppressor who is weak,” he said. “Bhutto was the first person who raised the slogan that people are the centre of power. People are with us and we will fight against the cruel landlords and politicians together.” “I want to ask Mr prime minister about the ‘so-called’ farmers’ package and what benefit it gives to the poor farmer. PPP is only the party that cares about the farmers of Pakistan. By killing Benazir Bhutto, the last support of the poor was snatched away from them.” Bilawal said that PPP is the only party which raised a strong voice against terrorism and terrorists. “They are many who talk, but only a Bhutto can give life for the people of Pakistan,” he said.
