In an achievement for army, 12 terrorists surrender unconditionally

ISLAMABAD: In a major breakthrough for the security forces since the launch of the ongoing military action in North Waziristan Agency (NWA), 12 militants of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) offered unconditional surrender on Wednesday. The development came after heavy bombardment by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) jets in the Mir Ali subdivision in which 13 terrorists were reportedly killed and five militant hideouts destroyed. “The civilian population in the Mir Ali is nearing evacuation. We would be launching ground enforcements as well, very soon,” military sources told Daily Times. Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said PAF jet aircrafts attacked hideouts of militants in surrounding areas of Mir Ali, North Waziristan, killing at least 13 militants. “As a result of shelling a large cache of arms and ammunition was also destroyed,” it said.
