KARACHI – Former Interior Affairs minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Senator Rehman Malik has said that former additional secretary of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Afzal Khan should present evidences about his claims of rigging in the general election 2013 if he has any.
Before leaving to China with former president Asif Ali Zardari, he told a private TV channel that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri and the government would have to make out a solution for the political crises.
“The role of the government will be an important one from now on,” he said. It should be noted that Afzal Khan had claimed that 90 per cent of the elections in 2013 were allegedly rigged. He said that he has no evidence to support his claims.
