ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan will hold a protest rally in Faisalabad amidst terror threats.
This public rally will be held at Dhobi Ghaat in Faisalabad on Sunday. In this connection, arrangement has been made in the city. People will be brought from Faisalabad and Sargodha divisions. Foolproof security arrangements are being finalized for this day.
Almost 3000 policemen will be deployed in the ground. Earlier, intelligence agencies have submitted report to the Punjab government warning of possible terror threats to PTI’s rally in Faisalabad. Punjab Home Department has reportedly informed PTI provincial president Chaudhry Ijaz about security threats.
The Home Department has asked the provincial leadership of the party to duly apprise its national leadership about the security threats.
