LAHORE – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri told the reporters from inside the aircraft at the Lahore airport that he will not disembark till his security is guaranteed by the military, private and local channel reported.
Dr Qadri refused to talk to the government representatives and said that he will only speak to the representative of armed forces. Addressing a press conference after his flight landed at the Allama Iqbal International Airport, Dr Tahirul Qadri said that thousands of supporters are present at the Islamabad airport and questioned that why there sentiments being hurt by diverting his flight to Lahore and asking him to exit the plane.
He said that he is a Pakistani citizen and it is his right to land anywhere he wants. Dr Qadri said that it was not a right decision to divert his flight.
