Protesters want to invoke martial law: minister

QUETTA - Balochistan Information Minister Abdul Raheem Ziaratwal has said that the demonstrators who are currently protesting in Islamabad want martial law to be imposed in Pakistan.

During the Balochistan Assembly session chaired by Abdul Malik Kakar, the information minister said the protesters were demanding prime minister's resignation and dissolution of the assemblies. However, all the democratic parties have rejected their unconstitutional demands.

He said that these demands would lead to chaos in Pakistan. He said that the current political conflict was the battle for Pakistan’s survival and stability. The marchers who were currently present at the sit-ins only want to invoke martial law.
