RAWALPINDI – At least 30 militants were killed in the targeted strikes by jet aircraft in Khyber and North Wazirastan tribal agencies early on Saturday morning, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations.
The ISPR details showed that at 2:00 hours, the jet aircraft destroyed two hideouts close to Pak-Afghan border in Khyber Agency killing 10 terrorists. At 5:00 hours, three hideouts were destroyed in Hassu Khel in North Wazirastan Agency, killing 15 terrorists.
The army said that all strikes were carried out in areas where there is no civil population. Over 300 suspected militants have been killed in the Zarb-i-Azb operation launched by the Pakistan Army a week ago, a private TV channel reported.
