ISLAMABAD – Jamiat Ulem-e-Islam-F leader and parliament’s Kashmir Committee chairman Fazlur Rehman on Friday said that some elements were working on foreign agenda to derail democracy.
Talking to journalists outside the Parliament House, he said that people were perturbed due to their unconstitutional demands. He said that the government of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should discourage the elements involved in unconstitutional demands.
Fazl said that some political people were trying to derail democratic system in Pakistan. Negative statements of Dr Tahirul Qadri were creating unrest in the country. He advised Dr Qadri to remain in Canada as he (Qadri) was unaware of the basic issues being confronted by the people.
