PML-N meeting terms Imran’s demands illegal

ISLAMABAD: The PML-N on Sunday termed Imran Khan’s demands illegal. Meanwhile, the government has finally came up with its action plan to deal with the situation after back to back deadlines by the PTI and PAT leaderships at the respective sit-ins in the heart of the capital. The government plans to deal with the PTI and PAT separately through two separate committees by involving ally and opposition politicians. Composition of the two committees will be announced by the government today (Monday). The government also plans to seek political support from allies and opposition parties through the National Assembly which convenes today after a recess of few days. Earlier, the government went into closed-door consultations as soon as Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif reached Islamabad from Lahore. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, federal ministers, and prominent PML-N leaders also attended. The government on Sunday remained in contact with MQM chief Altaf Hussain and JI chief Sirajul Haq.
