'Govt ready for dialogue with all parties'

Rashid calls Imran’s deadline to govt attack on democracy

ISLAMABAD – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid has said that the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf has failed in its march and sit-in.

In an interview to a private TV channel, he said that a party which could not stage a sit in for 24 hours would be unable to launch civil disobedience movement. He said that the government was ready for dialogue with all the political parties including Imran Khan.

The minister said that Imran Khan's deadline to government was an attack on democracy. He said that a party having 35 seats in the National Assembly was giving the undemocratic calls. He said that the Pakistan Awami Tehrik has no representation in the parliament but was staging a sit-in.
