Govt still ready for dialogue: CM

Shahbaz says ‘Azadi March’ has vanished into thin air

ISLAMABAD – Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday said that the government was still ready to hold dialogues on every issue as national issues were resolved in the parliament not on streets.

Talking to a private channel, the chief minister said that the ‘Azadi March’ of Imran Khan has vanished into thin air. He said that the elected leadership would always come up to the expectations of the people and the confidence they had reposed into them would never be squandered.

The chief minister said that the parties claiming to hold ‘million marches’ were considering few thousand people as the masses' strength, adding that the political leaders never leave their followers during tough conditions.
