PTI, PAT allowed to hold rally at Kashmir Highway

ISLAMABAD – Talks between Islamabad authorities and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) for holding rally at at Fazalhaq Road Blue Area of Islamabad has failed.


The authorities have denied permission to hold rally at the above place. Both Qadri and Imran Khan have been allowed to stage protest rallies at Islamabads Zero Point which is a route at the east end of the capital. On the other hand the marchers will not be allowed to go beyond Zero Point and the routes to all the main areas would remain sealed off by police riot and containers.


Moreover, the cellular service will also remain suspended partially. Meanwhile large number of PTI workers especially belong to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had already reached the procession venue. Government has allowed both the parties to hold rally at Kashmir Highway from Zero Point to Aapara Chowk.


Large number of security persons have also deployed on Kashmir Highway. Meanwhile administration has opened the entry points of capital from Zero point and Express way after removing hurdles.
