ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Muslim League-N Secretary Information Senator Mushahidullah Khan on Friday said that people had rejected ‘undemocratic agenda’ of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf as a ‘very small number’ attended his protest.
He said that this showed the people only wanted the development and that they had nothing to do with the desire of PTI Chairman Imran Khan to become the prime minister. In a statement, he said that the people only wanted that Pakistan should be recognized as a respectable country of the world.
He advised Imran Khan not to adopt an ‘undemocratic attitude’ and instead work for the welfare of people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where PTI was in government. “Everyone should accept the decision of the people and respect the mandate,” he said.
“Imran Khan should provide evidence to the judicial commission for investigation of electoral rigging instead of demanding resignation from the prime minister,” he said. Mushahidullah said that Imran’s demand for the prime minister's resignation was a ‘childish and condemnable.’ He (Imran) should have to wait for four years, he said.
