ISLAMABAD – The scope of the investigations of the recent attack on the Jinnah International Airport in Karachi has been expanded to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province along with the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
The authorities have decided to initiate search operations to the Afghan refugee camps in the province and the tribal areas to look for the terrorists who assisted in the brazen attack at the Pakistan's major airport in Karachi.
Quoting sources, a private television channel reported that the Afghan settlements and refugee camps will be searched and details of the people who have migrated from Afghanistan or the tribal areas will be collected in the operation.
A crackdown will be launched against the people dealing in Afghan and other foreign countries mobile SIMs. The federal government has issued directives for the operation, the channel reported.
