ISLAMABAD - Awami Muslim League (AML) President MNA Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has said that the government would initiate a fight with the army by challenging in the Supreme Court the decision of the removal of former president Pervez Musharraf’s name from the ECL.
Talking to journlists, he said that the government has been determined to take extreme action against the former president. "Issue of Musharraf is not the biggest one as other issues also exist in Pakistan," he said. He said that the government can also take some other steps than challenging the decision of excluding Musharraf's name from ECL.
"Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif wants to keep army just for guard of honour," he said. The former federal minister said that Nawaz Sharif was turning the situation as that of October 12, 1999.
