PML-Q joins ‘train march’ against govt

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) on Thursday announced to support Awami Muslim League’s planned Rawalpindi-Lahore train march on June 20.
Addressing a joint news conference with AML Chief Sheikh Rashid here at the Lal Haveli, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said PML-Q would fully support the AML to make the march successful. He said the march participants would be given a warm welcome at Gujrat railway station, adding, “I will myself receive the March participants.” Shujaat said the 10-point agreement reached between Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and PML-Q has been shared with Sheikh Rashid, inviting him to join their movement. Sheikh Rashid thanked PML-Q for extending support to AML train march and reciprocated that his party would give a historical welcome to PAT Chief Dr Tahir ul Qadri on his arrival at Benazir Bhutto International Airport on June 23. AML, he said, being an ally of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would contact Imran Khan to join hands with like-minded parties.
