BATTAGRAM – An earthquake of mild intensity jolted Battagram and surrounding areas on Friday evening but no causality or property loss was reported. According to geological wing of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), an earthquake of magnitude 3.2 on Richter scale was felt in Battagram and surrounding localities. People of the areas, where the quake was felt, rushed out their homes in panic but no human or property loss was reported. The epi-centre of earthquake was stated to be nine kilometer North of Battagram, 10km inside the earth crust.
