ISLAMABAD: Former president Asif Ali Zardari on Monday condemned terror attacks at Karachi airport, pilgrims bus in Taftan and a security convoy in MiranShah.
In a statement, the former president said that he has no words to condemn series of heinous attacks in which brave soldiers and innocent civilians were martyred and injured. “These attacks can never weaken the nation’s resolve to fight these barbaric terrorists till their last defeat,” he said, and added that our valiant forces have been offering supreme sacrifices in the war against terrorism and the entire nation salutes them. He urged the nation to get united and rise up against these ‘vicious and wicked elements that are out to destroy our country’.
Zardari prayed for eternal peace for the departed souls and offered sympathies to the bereaved families. He also prayed for recovery of the injured.
