KARACHI: The founder leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain has expressed his grief and sorrow over the deaths of eight personnel of law enforcement agency in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Ghulam Khan Tehsil of North Waziristan tribal region. Scores of personnel have been badly injured in the blast too.
Hussain expressed condemnation of the blast. “It is deplorable the government is trying to fulfil the demands of terrorists to achieve a ceasefire and these terrorists are targeting our territorial and ideological defenders.
The government should take action against the brutal terrorists instead of negotiating with them for the sake of security and survival of the country, “Hussain said. He expressed his heartfelt condolences with the bereaved families of the martyred personnel and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant them high places in Jannah. He prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. He demanded that president, prime minister, federal interior minister and chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for action against the perpetrators IED blast.
