Qaim discusses multidimensional development schemes in Sindh

KARACHI: The fifth meeting of new Annual Development Plan (ADP) 2014-15 Sindh discussed multidimensional development scheme under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah. Chief Minister directed the officers to submit their proposals for overall size of the next budget and ADP 2014-15 separately by keeping in view the expected federal and provincial receipts.
The CM Sindh asked the officers to prepare and include the unique and multidimensional development scheme in next ADP.
He constituted 3 members committee with additional secretary planning and development, works and services department and finance department and assigned them to decide about maintenance and repair of all main roads of Sindh and keep these up to date.
He directed the officers to give priority to the schemes relating to infrastructure required for energy producing projects.
He directed the officers to expedite the work for collecting the flagship/major taluka development schemes from the public representatives concerned and also to keep provision of block allocation in case same were not received in time.
He drew the attention of the officers towards the vertical health programmes and asked them to make these as workable and effective for common man and to ensure proper health facilities to the people.
